Description

The comic serial SCIUSCIA' (from the english "Shoe shine"), originally published in Italy from 1948 to 1957 was ispired from the movie Sciuscià of 1946. ______ Probably this piece was one of the very first painted cover of the great italian artist Ferdinando Tacconi . This cover was made for the first reprint of one of the most famous "strips" of the post WW II in giant size ( albo d'oro ).
The logo of the cover was made by Aldo Torchio.

credo di aver iniziato a collezionare tavole originali proprio con questa copertina ... da allora è passato qualche anno, ma io continuo imperterrito ad accumulare originali .....
