DescriptionEarly Carol Day with some great images of Carol. A lot of thought goes into the layout of strips that if done properly has a huge impact but is not noticed. The use of two darker panels flanking the central light background of the middle panel draws one into that image immediately. The two flanking panels also look inward to that middle panel. Purposeful nuances you don't catch but affect how you look at the art, how you read it and the impression it leaves. A masterpiece.Social/Sharing |

Great one, managing design, putting in heavy work and saving some at the same time while remaining gorgeous.

Stylish and captivating! It's like screentone by hand with so much crosshatching. The pair of statues in silhouette in the first and third panel catch your eye as they line up our sight lines.

Love the way the perspective rotates 180 degrees. Exceptional detail in the artwork.

A stunning, early example. What else is there to say?

Beautiful early daily! More untouched areas and straight black regions than most of the later dailies, but the staging, poses, and expressions are so effective and subtle

The backlighting on Carol in panel one is amazing...and the depth of the scene in panel three by Wright's ingenious use of crosshatching...just WOW!

Love the lighting in the first and third panels by the curtain, especially how the sharp contrast between the light and dark shadows helps create a glowing effect. Congrats!
