Here is a beautiful page from Hulk 142 (first Valkyrie issue)- one of my favorite pages from one of my favorite incredible Hulk comics! I think issues 141, 142, 150 and 151 were some of the very best illustrated Hulk comic books. Happy Herb demonstrates his outstanding storytelling skills as the Hulk finds a temporary peace in the arms of Lady Liberty. Trimpe was a masterful storyteller and the final 4-panel sequence beautifully demonstrates this skill, and all the head shots are just beautiful! The art has some developer stains on the top of the page, but it never really bothered me because the rest of it is so good. The legendary Hulk creative team of Herb Trimpe and John Severin at their very best!!!

Classic, classic Hulk art team - I remember this run, and this sequence. Sometimes it's the quiet pages that get you! Solid design and storytelling - and a rare tranquil moment in the big fella's busy life:-)
