DescriptionMy first art by Sparky. I think a Peanuts strip is a milestone in a strip art collectors career. Not unlike your first Foster Val or KK. Yesterday I checked off a box that has remained blank on my long term goal list for a decade. I didn't think I'd actually pull one of these off as I have trouble valuing them as the current market does. Regardless, here it is. Lucy, Chuck, rain, a pitcher's mound and an outlook on life. There is a poignancy and eternal relevance to so much of the Peanut's canon and this daily from prime Schulz years has all of that.Social/Sharing |

Well done. It's a great strip from a great time for Peanuts.

Super cool Jeff. Love this one! Snoopy seems to be a sentimental favorite, but give me a snarky Lucy every time!

What a great pickup. It's a classic example of one of the best strips ever with all of the famous elements. Congratulations.
