DescriptionMel Graff took over this strip in the 1940's and ran with it for over a decade. He is credited with giving the name to Phil Corrigan and over the years the name of the strip changed to Secret Agent Corrigan. I like Graff's style and he liked to use duotone boards. Graff also created grotesque villains for Phil to fight that were recurring characters and he probably took this que from Dick Tracy rougue's gallery.Social/Sharing |

Very nice backgrounds for panel 3 putting off the establishing shot until the very end. It lets us focus on the couple isolated in the line art and then in duo tone first.
