Cute gag! I love Byrnes' work on this strip and think it's great. Too bad it doesn't have much of a following, especially given how long it once ran for.

Fun strip without the panel breaks to make the story go as fast as the speed of the go kart!

Percy Crosby actually employed this type of gag in Skippy long before Brynes did. Byrnes used ghost artists pretty early on, from around the late 20s. I'm not sure who was ghosting at this point, but the artwork is lovely.
