Description

Although he didn't draw the first Common Elements commission, I credit Ron Lim as the spiritual godfather of this theme, because he was the first artist ever to suggest a two-character commission to me.

In his second entry in the series his casual offer spawned, Ron brings together a character he knows well -- American Dream (Ron drew the A-Next miniseries) -- and a character he had never drawn before -- American Eagle. Danny Bulanadi added the inks.

Created at WonderCon 2009.

Fabulous. Ron did one of my very first commission pieces as well. This is stellar and, yet again, a genius pairing.

Very, very nice! Ron Lim is an amazing artist, and I like the character American Dream, so it was enjoyable seeing this one. This brings back memories of when Lim & Bulanadi were doing great work on Captain America way back in 1990.
