Supergirl's face in panel 5 just makes you feel happy.  One of my favorite things about Weiss's work.  Atom and Flash were pretty crummy to her.  I didn't like that.

Yeah, I thought that was out of character for Flash and Atom.  Did not like that, either. I also partly attribute it to the attitudes towards women in the 1970's.

100% right about the attitude towards women in at 70s, but I'll share a sad story.  My wife, who was born in 1969 and I were watching Stranger Things, set in the 80s, right?  I was mortified by how they depicted the men in that office where Nancy Wheeler was working.  I said they were acting like it was the 1970s.  Women weren't treated like that by the 80s, were they?  She informed that yes, they were treated that way in the 80s.  It's not how I thought I remembered it, but it's sad to say a woman of that time said it was that way, too.  I couldn't look at their depiction of the 80s the same way anymore.  Everyone goes on and on about how great it was, but they must just mean the music.  It seems people were no better.
