I know what you mean. He usually brings some pre-done sketches and sketch covers, but never any published pages. And I never ask because I know how reluctant he is to sell his published art. This was a completely unexpected and wonderful surprise. That's why I bought 2 of them. If you can get in touch with Jerry, he still has about 8 pages left from the book.
Thank you, sir! Ruben, this was clearly a case of being at the right place at the right time. And having a friend alert me to the fact that Jerry was selling these pages. I would never have known otherwise because Jerry did not put them out on his table. At the end of the show on Sunday, I expressed surprise to Jerry that he hadn't sold out of these pages. He said it was because he never promoted them and was so busy with signatures and sketches that he never put them on the table. So, only folks who aksed if he had art for sale would even know.
Classic Green Lantern by Byrne and Rubinstein is a combination that can't be beat! Reminiscent of theire work on Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe. Congrats on this treasure!
Ruben, he did bring a small stack, but only the pages he drew from New History of the DC Universe. He said another collector had been bugging him about these pages so, on a whim, he brought all the pages he drew for the book. No others, though.
Stunning page by Jerry! Has echoes of the first History of the DC Universe art by George Perez. I also saw Jerry and picked up 2 pages that will be posted soon. Was surprised to see him selling published pages as he is always reluctant to doo that.

Thank you for posting this, Nick. An honorable and fitting trbute to a great artist gone too soon. Let's all raise a glass today. To John Cassaday, artist, creator and friend--to all of us.
Yeah, I thought that was out of character for Flash and Atom. Did not like that, either. I also partly attribute it to the attitudes towards women in the 1970's.
As you can tell, I also love Alan's work. As to the page 1 splash, I sold it to another collector, CAF member bronze-is-gold. I had anothe piece that I wanted and, even after the sale, would still have 4 pages from Weiss's Super Team Family # 11. So, win, win.
As usual, the Master never disappoints. So happy that he was able to do this sketch for Lindz!
Wow, some breathtaking Andru/ Garcia-Lopez Atari Force pages! And it is always a treat to get sequential pages. Love them all, but page 2 is my favorite.
