One of the more interesting pieces from NYCC 2017 that I got was also a very last minute thought of mine.

I'd wanted to get a piece from Luciano ever since I saw his own tribute made in reference to the "Love is Love" anthology which was a literal tribute/fund raising item made to raise money for the Orlando shooting victims of 2016.

I adored his little tribute as it included a splash of a huge amount of LGBT characters DC has had over the years. Of note for me was Ya'Wara and Icemaiden who despite not really having anything in common were otherwise alongside one another in said splash (which of ourse is inevitable with a splash so large). So of course as a fan of both it seemed like a fun idea to get the two together for a piece.

Ultimately much like the Love is Love book and Luciano's own piece, I really do hope that folks can get over themselves and stop spreading hate over each others differences. It seems like a pipe dream on many days but here's hoping.

how fantastic. I always liked Icemaiden. I love thats shes Norweigen same as Ice but entirely different.

theyd make a HOT hook up mini series.

It's a pity DC decided not to feature Icemaiden in their Pride Comic. I've always loved this character and her difference to Ice. It's a cool twist. 2 Ice powered Norweigen Heroines.
