DescriptionI always loved Ditko on the Hulk, but it was issue 6 where he inked himself-- the way it should be-- when the combination of the character's power and Dikto's gorgeous line truly came together. I just love this piece and could stare at it all day.Social/Sharing |

I don't normally leave comments to your new posts since I expect to be floored. This one is, however, mind boggling even by the lofty standards of your gallery.

You've discovered a way to make me hate you in an entirely new way, and I mean that with all the love in my heart. This piece leaves a gnawing in my guy. I can't give any higher praise.

Posting the mind-staggeringly awesome all-Ditko splash to The Incredible Hulk #6 does serve to illustrate the subtle difference in quality and scope between our respective comic art collections, and I thank you for it! Truly beautiful and historic page!

It goes to show that Ditko, in his prime period, was a very versatile artist. Just look at the Hulk's face and the soft brushwork on the inks. Incredible. Cheers! N.

Is the Metal Master the precursor to Magneto? As my buddy Scott McAdam would say, "There ain't no way it isn't!"
