Thorne's page layouts were frequently exquisite, as here. Perfectly balanced, but also perfectly serving the narrative. I guess I'd better go scan and post the one I got!

Thorne was one of those artists I had to ask myself if I truly liked his art or not. After concluding that I did, I decided that I liked it a lot. This is a fine page with clear storytelling, some great images of Sonja and lots of the little things (the detailed backgrounds, the outrageous design of the villains crossbow, the heavily stylistic inking, etc.) that made Thorne's work attractive.
