Description

A great splash page (and my favorite page!) of Dick Giordano art from the Jonni Thunder, A.K.A. Thunderbolt mini-series! In this series, San Francisco private eye Jonni Thunder comes into possession of a Lady Lightning statue left to her by her father. After Jonni gets electrocuted holding said statue, she is imbued with the ability to leave her own body in the form of a powerful Thunderbolt being. Great splash page by Dick Giordano, who once told me that his favorite things to draw were beautiful women and cars. I believe he did both exceptionally well!

Nice Thunderbolt* art! Sweet title page with hot mid 80's Giordano knowing how to do classic pin up style finishes.

Okay, now you're really just showing off, Steve! Man, this is simply sublime. If any aspiring (or even already pro) artist wants to study how to draw the female form in an exquisite manner, they need look no further than this page and the previous one you posted. Giordano is a legend!
