RARISSIMA COPERTINA della Serie Agente Speciale per l' edizione pubblicata in Olanda.
Published as cover for issue No. 8 in Netherlands (tks Guido) in the late 60's.

Agente speciale (The Avengers nell'originale inglese) � una serie televisiva britannica prodotta negli anni sessanta. Tratta di agenti segreti in un'ambientazione di fantasia. Il programma, prodotto dalla compagnia televisiva Associated British Corporation e ideato da Sydney Newman, � uno dei primi esempi del genere fanta-spionistico (SpyFi in inglese) che combina trame di spionaggio con elementi fantascientifici.

La serie si compone di 6 stagioni, nelle quali il protagonista John Steed, un agente speciale, � affiancato da un partner nella risoluzione delle indagini, spesso ai confini della realt�. In queste 6 stagioni, John Steed � sempre impersonato da Patrick Macnee. Tutte le stagioni sono state realizzate in Inghilterra, dal gennaio 1961 al settembre 1969, le prime 4 in b/n e le ultime 2 a colori per un totale di 161 episodi. La sigla di coda della serie � il brano Avengers (di G. Ferrio, P. Cassia e F. Monti Arduini), cantato da Nancy Cuomo. Fu un notevole successo, anche radiofonico.
