Description

This is an early Longshot pin-up done for the development of the mini-series, and may also have been used as an ad. Arthur Adams was one of the first artists I followed when I started collecting comics in the early 1980's. Longshot and the New Mutants Special Edition were my introduction to his work.

As nice as this is, its really something to look at this and then some of his newer stuff 30 years later, and see how much he's grown as an artist! He started really good, and just kept inmproving with time! Great example of Art from so very early in his career!

Incredible how consistent Art Adams has been in his quality. Can't think of any other 80s artist who was at the top of his game early in his career and is still going as strong as Adams is. Lovely example, Kelvin!
