DescriptionWhen I approached Geof Isherwood about doing a Will Eisner tribute commission, I knew that his cinematic sensibility would serve the project well. Geof shot photo reference for the backgrounds near an aqueduct in Montreal. He also posed for the Spirit figure himself, to make sure he captured the folds in Denny's suit perfectly. All but the crosshatching in the night sky is inked with a brush in the Eisner style.Social/Sharing |

Isherwood is one heckuva of an artist, and I love his take on The Spirit !!!! Congratulations on a superb commission.
