Description

When I commissioned this artwork, I asked Bob McLeod — one of the finest Spider-Man interpreters in the character's 40-plus-year history, in my estimation — to create something that expressed his view of the joy and fun of Peter and Mary Jane's lengthy yet still effervescent courtship. If a picture speaks a thousand words, this one recites an entire romance novel. It's also testimony to the fact that Bob, whom most comics fans think of primarily as an inker, is a first-class penciler in his own right.

I couldn't agree more. You have to be a great penciler to be a great inker.A top class artist whose pencils we all miss.Great piece!

I agree with the other posters... this is a very nice piece. Mr. Mcleod can most definitely do some fine pencil work.
