Description

Geof Isherwood took on the challenge of taking a rough breakdown sketch by Frank Brunner and transforming it into a finished artwork. I chose Geof for this commission not only because he's a fabulous inker, but also because both he and Brunner enjoyed well-respected runs as pencilers on Dr. Strange. Geof lightboxed Brunner's sketch onto a fresh comic art board, shifted the orientation, and expanded the image beyond the limits of Brunner's original. The results are simply spectacular.
