Description

Something of a grail for me. Neal Adams' Tarzan Cover Paintings are my all time favorite artwork. Most of the originals are still in the family's possession. However, the cover painting to book #1, "Tarzan of the Apes" (my favorite) is lost and no decent scans/negatives exist. I have been pestering/begging/pleading (in a respectful manner, of course) for a re-creation for 10 years. In the meantime, this ink re-creation of the Tarzan figure charging hangs right over my monitor.

GREAT GOOGALY MOOGALY!!! Incredible Tarzan collection, this has long been one of my favorite Neal Adams pieces also. Congrats!!

Garry - I'm still waiting on the re-creation of the painting. Neal's going to have to get motivated on his own as there is no way I could come up with the $$$ to commission said re-creation. Maybe if we all clap our hands and say "I believe....".
