Description

This is the original art to the famous Telluride Dead poster. Its a spoof on the famed photo of butch Cassidy/Sundance kid and the Wildbunch gang photo from the early 1900's. There is a lot of history with this piece which I wont write it all here but to sum it up Steve wanted something done with relation to Telluride. Telluride was the place where Butch Cassidy and gang robbed their first train. Bill Graham didn't approve it at first but later became one of his favorite posters and a print of it hung behind his desk in his office till his death.
All hand done including the lettering.
