Description

This great example of Wayne Boring's style (possibly Win Mortimer) Superman daily comic strip art from 1949 on Craftint Singletone Drawing Board is from the "Superman, Male Escort" story written by Alvin Schwartz. Inked by Stan Kaye. "Another Shiner" has a violent good girl action panel! The man's name is Eddie King. He defends Clark Kent from a bully, suffering a black eye which keeps him from his work as a male escort. Superman covers for him, and female rioting ensues! No Superman, but still a lot of fun! Check out the detail pics! Large size is overall about 23 X 7.5". Very clean and not dis-colored.

I have owned this for a long time, and proper artist attribution is just fine with me.
