Description

Love this cover and Silvestri’s work on the Star TreX-Men crossover by Marvel & Paramount Comics. I was really impressed with the Lobdell / Silvestri collaboration, and wished we got like a year or two of their adventures because of it. They really seemed to get the flavor of Star Trek, even capturing some of the Kirk, Spock, Bones dynamic and fun. That, or maybe I was impressed because I hadn’t read a ST comic since back in the Gold Key days. ;)

Been slowly putting some ST/XM pages together and couldn’t be happier to cap them off with the Capt. Kirk & Cyclops dominated cover, just love that Kirk image. Two great characters and team leaders that were totally worth seeing together, plus Gladiator, Dark Phoenix, Proteus, Lt. Commander Gary Mitchell, Wolverine vs. Spock, and double Dr. McCoys, ‘Nuff Said!

How cool was it to see the star trek cast drawn by Marc silvestri! this was the first time Marc drew the x-men in his image style and it is great! how long have you had this one? congrats
