Description

11:59 PM, at the appointed time, a dark sedan speeds onto the street. SKREEECH, two “Jumpers” rush outta the car. SNK SNK, they pull the pins on two potato-mashers and heave for Mr. Trent's apartment. Luckily, he's anticipated their move and hides in ambush in the side alley with his Uzi pistol. BRRRRRRRATTT, Mr. Trent unloads his clip on his unsuspecting assailants sending all three Jumpers back on up.

Rogers really seemed to shine with his storytelling skills for this masterful adaptation of Harlan Ellison's classic, as this explosively "silent" page illustrates. Love his moody night sky, rich brick buildings and dark palette!

Nice to see Marshall Rogers' hand in the coloring too. The choices made fit to compliment the mood and atmosphere.

Nice action sequence that was omitted from the 1964 Outer Limits episode. They also re-jigged the opening of Ellison's teleplay to start with Trent's lines, "I was born ten days ago", seen at the bottom of page six. Congrats!
