Description

Closing the two page silent sequence, Trent collects the three gold medallions from the dispatched Jumpers that connects them to the Time Mirror and back on up to the future. Followed by a nice little splash of Trent clutching the gold medallions as the title page (visible on the painted page). I just love Marshall’s pencils, inks & colors which work so well together. My real favorite are the foreboding dark clouds that both back and define our protagonist, like a holocaust on the horizon.

Oversized art from 1986 - 13x19.

Hero needs to climb rope and take on Jason Scott Lee in aerial hand to hand combat. He may be old but he got heart.

Technically flawless, it tells the story and establishes the importance of the medallions, and gives us a great official opening to the tale. Measured and controlled inks on everything in the page, Rogers lets the environment of the colored final to do work with a more wild and chaotic backdrop.
