DescriptionA GIFT FROM A LEGEND: i was getting tired of waiting for them to anounce the guest of honor for one of the boston shows so i took matters into my own hands i started emailing artist and asking if they wold ever consider attending a boston con. after a lot of NO's and MAYBE's i landed on Trimpeand he said he had "high hopes for visiting boston" so i emailed the guy who ran the show and put him in touch with Herb, and i am glad i did, i could not of hoped to meet a nicer guy . that night i got an email from herb thanking me for helping set up his visit and he would like to come back someday, which made me feel good. i later sent herb a pinup of batman i drew for him alonng with a letter asking how much an avengers commission would cost. months went buy without hearing anything then to my surprise i recieve this in the mail!!!!!!! i was speachless. herb and me have kept in touch ever since so as you can imagin tis is the GRAIL of my collection. i hope you enjoy this piece and the story behind it as much as i do on a 8x13 what feels like 3 ply bristal board Social/Sharing |
