Had a GREAT time at FX INTERNATIONAL this weekend. The show was a bit slow but I think, once the word gets out, itll catch on quick. It was a sketch collectors dream. Lots of A List professionals with plenty of room on sketch lists.
Ive been trying to get a nice piece by my pal, Jimmy Cheung, for a couple of years now. Im always late to the party on his sketch lists. This time however, I was able to score BIG TIME. This isnt even the piece I got on his list for. It was sitting on his table half the show and everyone assumed it wa spoken for. It wasnt. So, while Jimmy is finishing up my BIG piece, this little beauty is more than tiding me over. That kids got talent to spare!

Man, I cant believe we all stood open jawed looking at this as it just sat there for a couple hours before you finally picked it up.... Glad that you were finally able to get on Jimmys list and from what I saw, its going to be a great addition! Look forward to seeing it inked as well afterwards! Can we finally get a Cheung/Townsend project or what?

You're lucky my wife would've kicked my ass if I bought another drawing at FX, or this bad boy might have been on my wall instead. Almando and I just sat there and contemplated whether or not our wives leaving us would be worth it or not. Congrats Tim, this one is amazing.

This is the best Captain America that I've seen yet to come from Mr. Cheung. I want one of his sketches, and I want it to be of Cap.
