Since John switched to doing commissions full time, I've really noticed a spark, a bit of his old school flavor that so many of us are obsessed with. You can tell he's having fun again. That makes me extremely happy. Great piece!
THIS is what a recreation should be like, more of a reinterpretation, not the line-for-line plagiarism we see so often these days. Cudos to you, Mike, for not only a fantastic job, but for having some ethics and pride in your work!!
So cool. I love these things. It's like a time-capsule.
I had to battle Juanjo Guarnido for it. I didn't need any extra competition!! 😜

That Omega Red semi-splash was almost the first piece of art I ever purchased. Back in 92' I had the opportunity to snag either it or another Lee/Williams X-Men page. This was the "cooler" page but I went with the other because it had more of the main characters on it. Cool to see it again!!
I remember copying this on my Trapper Keeper at school when I was 7. Always loved this book. Super jealous!!!
Adam is one of the funniest guys I've ever known. Yes, unfair, indeed! :)

I did and it haunts me. Sadly, thus was collateral damage during my acquisition of the Byrne FF Galactus beat-down sequence.
