DescriptionThis is an extremely special piece for me as I am a huge Atlas Pre-Code Horror fan and also a fan of "Agents of Atlas", a modern comic that pitted some of the Atlas era heroes together in an eclectic super hero team. The team includes Jimmy Woo (Yellow Claw #1), Venus (Venus #1), Marvel Boy (Marvel Boy #1), Namora (Marvel Mystery Comics #82), Ken Hale Gorilla Man (Men's Adventures #26) and finally, M-11 the Human Robot (Menace #11). This is one of only 5 pages of original art from the story and this one is the finale page featuring the famous "kill scene"! Atlas era horror art is so rare, almost too rare. There simply isn't enough around to even create a solid collector environment. I am so happy that this piece exists. To add icing on the cake, the story was drawn by John Romita in some of his earliest work.Social/Sharing |

So gorgeous Fantastic Art! I remember when the rest of the story was for sale and too expensive for me at that time. Big congrats!

Very cool! Love the retro robot design here, and the note from Romita up top. I wonder if Romita designed the character himself? If so, this could be the first of many recurring character designed by Jazzy Johnny over the decades.

Jumpin Jupiter! That's a sensational page. Always interesting to see what still exists.

This is stellar. Who needs a Spider-Man when you have this?
