Description

This piece was created by Brian around the time of his "Judge Death/Dark Judges" stories. It wound up being used a few places but probably most famously as a giant door-sized poster. I love Brian's work, and I love his Dredd/Judge Death work a great deal. So this piece is a real favorite of mine.

That's the mark of a talented artist when a piece of their artwork can be taken and blown up to 10 times it's original size and every fine line detail is still perfect.

Additional Info 7/20: This image has also been used for the ThreeA line of Judge Dredd Figures for their variant Judge Death figure card back.

I so love this piece...as anyone who sits still with me long enough knows, the Death stories were what first introduced me to Bolland art. This just makes me want my own example....damn you and congratulations
