Description

This art was originally from an earlier, pre-code issue of Black Cat. Still not sure which one (anyone know??). When it was used for issue 65, the size of the comics page had different dimensions than in the Golden Age, requiring that the art be extended vertically. The art was cut and new art board inserted (you can see some of it in panel 1). New art was added to fill in the gap. In addition, the Comics Code required that some of the art be modified. Notably, the Black Cat's breasts were made smaller. In addition, the way the villainess is holding the gun suggests that she was holding a knife in the original version!
