I read the Zahn books and loved them (Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising and Last Command). I read the comic adaptations and loved them too! I suppose I must live with the fact that the latest Star Wars movies took a different route, but just imagine what could have been...

Great page with Mara Jade (loved his take on Winter too) and a great series, both the book and comic. The book really kicked off reinvigorating Star Wars back in the 90s, as there was NOTHING going on at the time. Funny how they've brought Thrawn and Rukh into continuity/cannon on "Rebels." Was hoping they'd work Mara in to continuity somehow... thought maybe Rey was Luke and Mara's daughter... guess not.
