Description

Henry Patrick Raleigh (1880 - 1944): Vanity Fair, Harper's Bazaar, Colliers and Saturday Evening Post were some of the magazines Raleigh contibuted to. This is a story illustration for one of those (I believe). Charcoal, Ink, watercolor and wash.
2015/06/12 Update: Featured as a cover to Illustration Magazine #43!!

This piece is pure poetry! I like it so much, the way to use the colors, the shadows, and the romantic pose of the two characters.. the face of the woman is fantastic.. congrats a wonderful art.
