Description

This one-of-a-kind Frazetta Barbarian statue was sculpted by Clayburn Moore and hand-painted by Paul Moore. My understanding is that it was created for display purposes at conventions to help sell the normal production run at the Moore booth. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it for sale on fee-bay, but I had been waiting for a unique version of this statue and this one is about as unique as they come. There is one minor flaw with it, in that the dagger at Conan's belt appears to have been broken and re-glued, but aside from that the rest of the statue is in perfect condition. The painting of this display statue was done by Paul Moore and is INCREDIBLE! If you ever have an opportunity to purchase a statue painted by Paul, I HIGHLY recommend it. The details on this piece put it heads above the regular production run.

Very nice Alex! As soon as the picture started coming up I could see the color differences in this piece. The colors seem more bold and alive then the one that I have. Congrats on landing a one of a kind and yet another great addition to your already Amazing collection!

Yeah, the colors really pop on this piece, opposed to the standard production run that I thought was very dark and drab. I also wasn't too crazy about the greenish tint the standard pieces had on Conan's arms. Anyhow, when I saw this, I had to jump, and I'm glad I did.
