Description

This cover comes from the third Creepy magazine I bought off the stands way back in 1973. Many of the Warren covers were lost, damaged or just plain not to be found. I've searched for years to locate this one (and am still looking for the cover to #56!). You could imagine my surprise when I saw it hanging in a comic dealer's office like it belonged there. Well, that didn't last long.....
Sanjulian did a few covers similiar in lay-outs (like that gorgeous Eerie 40). This one fits the bill for me. His use of color is as good as it gets.

Marc, Excellent find!!! Please let me know where you shop for comics as I could use a few vintage Eerie & Creepy covers myself - lol! Seriously, congrats on the luck of finding an incredible Sanjulian!
