I didn't pick up much in 2020, but I finally got around to adding a Paolo Rivera original to my collection. Rivera has been on my radar for a number of years now � first with his painted work, then with his outstanding run on Daredevil � but I've never found the piece to make me pull the trigger.

But I love a dramatic, painted page. And I'm a sucker for onomatopoeia.

Hulk smash.

Dramatic, for sure! I dig the flow down the page - you got some great storytelling AND a nice splashly shot there in the middle. Also gotta love that "WHAM" is lettered right into the art! Rivera can do no wrong. Congrats!

Paolo Riviera is one of the finest artists working today. His work on everything from Daredevil to Captain America to Silver Surfer is absolutely stunning. This page from Hulk: Mythos is a perfect example of how talented Paolo is. That top panel with Hulk smashing up vehicles with a huge WHAM lettered right on the art is dropdead gorgeous. The smaller panel with the Blackhawk helicopter flying overhead is sheer perfection. Paolo Rivera's talent is simply jawdropping!
