I still can't believe this is hanging in my living room.

I was the under-bidder for this at Heroes a couple of years ago � and have been sorry for not bidding higher everyday since then. Especially since my wife really, REALLY liked the piece.

Fast forward a couple of years and I find the piece on eBay. And as fate would have it - I win. And it came with a great frame.

Ya can't beat that with a stick.

(Technically I'm cheating by putting this in the "DC" room � but I'll be damned if I create a whole new folder for just one piece.)

I saw Tony painting this and didn't know anything about Ex-machina at the time. I asked him if it was Maxwell Lord and he said no, it was Mitchell Hundred. I felt dumb. Fast forward to this year at heroes and I told Tony the story and apologized for insulting him. He said he didn't know who the @!#$@# Max Lord was. Felt dumber the second time around. Now I can appreciate the painting :)
