Description

Blast from the Past... from a time when Alan Moore and I were good friends. Ah, those were the days.

This August, 1984 marker sketch of Alan Moore was originally drawn for and published in Amazing Heroes -- I think in #58 (1984), but I haven't been able to confirm that from my collection (I welcome being corrected, if anyone out there has their Amazing Heroes collection at hand!) -- and it became a rough concept sketch for the color cover portrait I did of Alan for Amazing Heroes #71 (1985).

It's rendered on an 8" x 11" piece of two-ply bristol paper, drawn with markers and pen.
