Cobra Vipers by Ryan Kelly!
I've been supporting Ryan Kelly on his Patreon and after 6 months I was able to get a 9x12 color commission from him. From following Ryan Kelly online, I've noted he's a fan of GI Joe and he recently did a few issues of a GI Joe book for IDW, set in the future. I wanted something classic from him and after looking at a lot of his work I really felt like he had a great handle on gear and weapons, which isn't always easy to come by. I went with the Cobra Viper because I've always loved their design but thought the look might not be the most fun for everyone. Well, Ryan knocked it out of the park! One Cobra Viper, right up front, with 2 more in support! The moody background really sets the tone for this one, Ryan didn't mess around!

The Cobra infantry troopers never looked better in these muted colors!

Saw this and had to comment, maybe "beautiful" isnt the word to describe a fang face like these guys but DANG this is so cool! I always loved the Viper squads and these guys are straight outta the 80's, "Hff-hfff, smell that? Smells like...nostalgia."
