DescriptionHis style can be hard to digest at times, but this is a near perfect example of Jae Lee's unique style in the 90s. The sharpness of that Stryfe armor. The negative space of Stryfe in the next panel. And the beautiful silhouettes of Cyclops and Jean Grey. I'm not sure how Al Milgrom figured out how to ink it but the stars were aligned that day.Social/Sharing |

Great use of light and shadows. Negative Space and blacks! Also the zip-effect for the sky is lovely. Great page!

Crazy-looking page! I wonder what the design process was like for Strifes's helmet.

Milgrom did you ink over this one?

Jae Lee are you pencilling Phoenix? Hey, Larry?
It's X-Factor touch?
If you believe that armored man on the moon, Stryfe on the moon
If you believe there's nothing up his sleeve, be helping to you

Nice early Jae Lee example. The talent was all there from the very beginning!
