DescriptionI have wanted to get an OML from David Finch forever and a day and was THRILLED beyond words that David found the time (many, many thanks to the wonderful and patient Meredith for setting this up) at SDCC to put this piece together. ...AND then, many thanks to David and Meredith again for agreeing to add 3 floating heads at Baltimore Comic-Con for me. I now have the perfect David Finch piece for my collection!!!!I knew I wanted Captain America v. Baron Zemo I but, they don't appear alone (as far as I could tell) on a single Marvel comics cover. What to do, what to do. Ah, for those who know the story, in Avengers #56, Captain America goes back in time and watches as Zemo sends Bucky to his death and Cap into frozen sleep. ONE MINUTE LATER, the time-traveling Cap would take a swing at Zemo before sadly fading away back to reality. Hope you like it! Social/Sharing |

This commission proves why I was disappointed the day Finch released he was signing with DC. Finch draws the BEST Marvel characters. This is a commission drawn at a con and it is easily better than any published Marvel piece over the past year. While Finch draws a nice Batman, he draws the best Cap in the world!

Finch does an amazing Cap and this Zemo is too GOOD!!! Hopefully David comes back to Marvel soon and major congrats on amazing commission!

Another brilliantly rendered OML and by none other than one of the BEST talents in the game. Finch is a master and I echo the sentiment about how bummed I was seeing him head to DC. Great piece!
