I'm not that big a fan of his graytones, maybe those are convention drawings. But he did a great job with the blacks on this piece!!!

Perkins pieces can be hit or miss IMO and this is definitely in the former category! Great pure illustration and love the shading work. Also an emotive piece with a nice sense of atmosphere. Congrats!
