Description

This is the signature plate to Chris' Fantasy Serenade portfolio. I've always felt it was arguably, the finest pencil piece he's done, even better than the portfolios cover. I bought it directly from Chris in the early 1980's and it's resided with me ever since. I originally posted this piece to CAF 20 years ago(!) with a truly terrible picture. I've tried to remedy that somewhat with this updated image (honestly, still not the best) and a few additional details. The subtle blends and varied depths created by the pencils are simply stunning. Quite possibly the earliest piece of original art that I've bought and still retain in my collection.
