DescriptionFrank Brunner told me this was published in 1979 as part of a Limited Edition Portfolio, The Silver& black "Elric" Portfolio. It was later publsihed as page 63 in "Eyes Of Light", the Vanguard art book about Frank and his art.My sneaky wife was trying to get me something that would surprise me for Christmas, 2010, and she recalled that I had wanted to get "one more piece" by Frank before he retired from commissions, so she (knowing virtually NOTHING about getting art) found his e-mail address and began a correspondence. When she realized he would not be able to get to a commission by Christmas, he dug around and found this vintage piece of Elric art, with which she surprised me on Christmas Eve! Social/Sharing |

It is always a pleasure to see one of Brunner's 70s portfolio works and, likewise, his version of Elric.
