Swampy rises from the shadowy, muck-choked depths of the bayou in this bold, earthy illustration by comic art legends Infantino and Alcala. Created as a T-shirt design for Shirt Shed Inc., as noted in the top margin, this haunting piece captures the spirit of the muck monster in the bayou in bold, organic detail. Officially stamped by DC on the reverse and dated 1990. Ink over graphite on DC Bristol board with an image area of 12.25" x 14.75". Light toning, smudging, whiteout touch-ups, minor spot staining, creasing along bottom of page and corner, and handling wear. In Very Good condition.Social/Sharing |

By two ledgendary DC greats! Wearing a Swamp Thing shirt in the 90's would have made a bold statement that you were into sophisticated suspense or people would just think you're into horror!
