Description

This is a comic strip Richard created shortly after his self-published comic magazine NIGHT DRIVE, which was published in November 1984. (That zine introduced the comic "Invisible Hands" which was later featured on MTV's Liquid Television show). This strip was published in 1985 in a "new wave" / "punk" tabloid newspaper in the San Francisco Bay Area called ANOTHER ROOM. Another Room Magazine was an Oakland-based fanzine which emerged from the punk and new wave scene, but it focused mainly on experimental music, alternative comics and contemporary art.

Damn, I remember Another Room! SF in the 80’s was a wondrous place to live. This is great to see!
