Hey Ron, BIG congrats here are in order...there's only a handful of Buscema Surfer covers out there...a lot of them have been altered...as the one-time owner of this one, I can relate to how cool it is to own it... :)

A proud addition to your collection. It's nice to have a Buscema 1960s Surfer cover. They are not freed up much any longer.

While I think panel pages are the heart and soul of comic book art, you can't help but be impressed by something as spectacular as a cover with the Surfer in full battle with the Flying Dutchman. It is a true treasure.

What an awesome addition to your already fantastic collection. A true Grail that must have been quite difficult to get but totally worth it. Sincere congrats : Buscema + Silver Surfer + 60s + cover + beautiful work of art = can't beat that !!!

Ron, my friend, before this piece, your collection had rhythm, it had style, it had heart, but now it has something that few collections have, it has a soul. And a legendary one at that. Tremendous acquisition! Colossal congratulations!

As another former owner of this cover I say congrats!! It's the cover that almost wasn't. As you probably know #8 was to be another double ish but they decided to split it up into 2. The 2nd half became ish #9 thus the need for another cover!

How have I not commented on this piece? I think John Buscema's work on Silver Surfer was the pinnacle of his career. I just love everything about this cover. Belated congratulations!
