Description

The cover that started it all. When Blackest Night was first announced back in 2007 at the conclusion of the Sinestro Corps War, few believed that it would prove to be quite as popular as it became. Many thought it would just be "another Green Lantern story." Instead, Blackest Night ended up being not just the most successful event in 2009, but the most successful and influential DC event in 25 years (going back all the way to the granddaddy of them all, CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS). Many thanks to the Magnificent Mike Naugle, the original owner of the piece, GL collector extraordinaire, and, more importantly, one heck of a nice guy.
