I loved Martin's art back when. It was so different from what was being done (on Star Wars for one) at the time.

It would be difficult to top, but then again I have always been a fan of Shira Brie/Lumiya story arcs across the original Marvel run. The Lumiya splash to open the preceding issue #95 is a great page, and their initial confrontation face off on page 17 of that issue. Or maybe earlier in #96 on page 3 solely for that bottom panel of Lumiya with the force whip. But certainly one of the upper echelon, and Luke with dual sabers to boot.

I bought this comic off a newsstand when it was new at a time when my total comic book collection was less than a dozen books, so I can't even begin to count how many times I read it. That third panel is burned into my memory from all those years ago, as I recall thinking how awesome Luke looked with both weapons in hand. Saying this is spectacular doesn't begin to describe this page.

Read this in a Dutch translation when I was a kid and this comic always stuck with me. Great seeing the original art! Thanks for sharing!
