Day 09. Thirty-one days of Star Wars (2025 edition).

Today nets a two-fer, as I�m posting pages 14 and 16 from this issue. Or maybe it�s a two-fur? Do Star Wars universe cats also have nine lives?

Luke, Leia, and Han find themselves up to their ears in fur-coated trouble when they get caught in the middle of a bloody conflict between two fanatic factions of a race of cat-people. "Catspaw!" was written by Jo Duffy, penciled by Sal Buscema, and inked by Tom Palmer. Buscema penciled just two issues of the original Marvel Star Wars series, this one and issue 102.

Bound and defiant, Luke, Han, and Sami reveal their Rebel allegiance, exposing Durne's treachery. Durne demands their execution, but the Cantrosians, intrigued, insist on hearing them out on this tension-filled page.

You know, with his penchant for introducing at least one lame ass character into most of the movies, I'm kind of surprised that George Lucas didn't put these cat people into one of them!

another nice page from the issue. I think the only thing more rare than owning 2 pages from the only 2 Sal B SW issues, is owning them and seeing them appear on CAF in the same day! kudos!
