DescriptionA very early Joe Kubert Ragman concept drawing paired with Jack Adler's production mock-up of an unused Ragman #1 cover using that same drawing. The production cover is a bit of a mystery as it is clearly intended for issue #1, but the gun used in the foreground to frame the action is a stat taken from Joe's art for the cover of Ragman #4. Just speculation, but with covers done far in advance, it's possible the art for #4's cover was completed when someone at DC wanted to see another take on #1's cover, and Jack Frankensteined up this sample.Either way, it's a priceless artifact to fans of Ragman or Implosion Era DC like myself.
